About Me 

I’m Kenzerly. I guess you’re here because you want to know more about me/my sidebar isn’t good enough for you/you’re procrastinating on something. I’m a girl of many nicknames. My actual name is MacKenzie. My mom thought she was being really original when she named me, but apparently so did all the other moms with their own little Mackenzie’s running rampage. I don’t really like the name much, so I’m lucky to have creative friends who think up nicknames like nobody’s business. There’s of course Kenzerly, then there’s Kenzie and Kenz (two nicknames I’ve always had), and most recently, Moccasin, which all of my closest friends have been calling me. There is a story behind that, but it’s sort of a long one, and I’ve got to leave something to the imagination. Sometimes a Southern accent slips out of me, but it really just depends on the day. I love reading. My favorite books are The Outsiders (which will always have a special place in my heart; I’m even thinking of getting stay gold tattooed on my wrist), the Harry Potter series (which I can’t begin to describe my love for), and The Hunger Games (which has actually managed to change my view on life and the way I live it). I’m pretty short for my age. I’m 5’0. Sometimes I’m measured as 5’1, but again, it depends on the day. I live in a really ordinary place with some really ordinary people in it. There’s a few that aren’t all that ordinary, and I like to think of myself as one of them. Unlike them, I don’t spend my time doing or selling drugs. I spend most of it writing, and writing a lot. I have an older brother, Michael, and a niece, Elizabeth. I’ve been a vegetarian for over two years. I tried being vegan once and failed after a month. I just wasn’t motivated to be vegan. I might try again, but probably not. I’m not a slacker, but I am a procrastinator. I get things done in the end. I’ve been failing math for a year and a half, which is very contrasting to my other grades. I am determined to bring it up, though. I play piano and I’ve attempted to learn guitar like five times, but I don’t have the patience to. I can’t dance or sing even if my life depended on it. I like dogs. I think I want to get a big German Shepard one day. You’ll find me here on Tumblr a lot. Talk to me. I promise I’m not scary.
